In tvOS 15, Apple simplified the process of using iPhone to replace regular account passwords, allowing users to use Face ID and Touch ID for authentication. Developers can implement new tvOS features to verify purchases and sign applications through Touch ID and Face ID on the iPhone.
As long as the developer implements this feature when you sign in to an application that requires login for the first time, you will see a new Login with Apple device option. Users who choose to authenticate with iPhone or iPad will receive a notification on their device, which will take them to a Face ID/Touch ID authentication page.
