According to the latest report, Google now released the Android 12 Beta 2 update to its Pixel devices. The new version adds some new features that were announced at this year’s I/O conference but did not appear in the first beta version, such as a new way to manage network connections.
In the quick settings, Android 12 now has a new button named Internet to replace the original Wi-Fi button. After clicking this button, a pop-up window will appear, allowing users to switch between Wi-Fi networks and display their current cellular network connection.
Google said the idea is to help users switch between their Internet providers and more easily troubleshoot network connection problems. Google’s post asks readers to let us know what they think, this is a signal, maybe this user experience may not be a sure thing. Google often introduces new user interface ideas during Android testing and then backtracks.
The Android 12 system also adds a clipboard read notification, which will appear when an application reads the current clipboard. When one app reads the clipboard from something you copied in another app, it will show up. In other words, if you copy and paste in the same app, it won’t pop up annoyingly.
Unlike other notifications, this notification will obviously appear from the bottom of the screen. This is similar to a feature that first appeared on the iPhone because more and more people are realizing that applications require clipboard content when they shouldn’t.
