Twitter will add a Newsletter subscription button on the profile page

Newsletters will soon be added to the profile of the Twitter app. In the next few weeks, Twitter will continue to improve and test the social media profile and add a newsletter subscription button. As the company explained to Mashable, its goal is to help newsletter authors make better use of their existing Twitter followers and strive to expand their subscriber base.

The Subscribe button will be displayed prominently on the profile page of the person who has opted in to enable this feature and can be used by anyone with a Revue account. This move shows that Twitter continues to attach importance to newsletters after acquiring the newsletter subscription service in January.

Writers can use Revue to generate free or paid subscription newsletters. Twitter takes a 5% fee from the latter. In one of the test models, Twitter users will be able to subscribe to the newsletter and read sample issues directly on the author’s Twitter profile page.

Twitter will not provide the exact date when the new subscription button will be available for the first time but said it will land on Android and the web first, and then the iOS platform.
