Windows 11 title bar maximize button introduces a new storage and organization feature

Yesterday, an early version of Windows 11 was leaked. Except for screenshots circulated everywhere on the Internet, many new gameplays in this new version of the operating system did not immediately appear. For example, Windows 11 now includes very convenient window storage and organization feature. Either the resource manager or any Windows application can be used, as shown in the figure.

To call this feature, just hover the mouse over the Maximize button, and a grid will pop up in the title bar, allowing you to store the window in the selected position. As can be seen from the above video, if you want to reset the window to a floating window, you only need to press the maximize button twice in the locked position. It will even remember and return to the original position on the screen.

This new feature actually completely replaces the maximize tooltip, and the button still works like in Windows 10, which means that if you click on the button, the window will be maximized, and then click again. When clicked, the window will be restored to its floating state.

Microsoft acknowledged these leaks to some extent, saying on Twitter: This is just the beginning. This shows us that we only really saw part of the Windows 11 experience. Many what’s next are still hidden in the hidden Windows Feature Experience Pack and have not been leaked, let alone activated.

Fortunately, we don’t need to wait long. Eight days later, Microsoft will tell us more information, and then we expect the new version to enter the Insider channel.
