OnePlus Nord N200 will only get one major version of Android update

OnePlus launched the Nord N200 overseas this week. The 4+64GB version is priced at 239 US dollars, which is the cheapest 5G mobile phone currently on sale by OnePlus. According to the 9to5Google report, OnePlus officially confirmed in an interview that OnePlus Nord N200 will only receive one major Android version update and a three-year security patch update.

OnePlus Nord N200 is pre-installed with Android 11-based Oxygen OS, so the machine will only be upgraded to Android 12 unless there is a private developer to adapt it. OnePlus Nord N200 is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 480 chip, using a 6.49-inch 2400*1080 LTPS LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90Hz.

In addition, the device also uses LPDDR4x storage and UFS 2.1 storage, supports microSD card expansion to 256G, runs OxygenOS based on Android 11, and uses side fingerprint recognition.
