macOS 12 Monterey first beta goes live

Apple today released the first beta version of macOS 12 Monterey to public testers, allowing non-developers to experience the system before the official release. macOS 12 Monterey brings a variety of new ways to help users communicate on Apple devices, improve efficiency and fluency.

SharePlay is a new feature of FaceTime video calls that allows users to share experiences; the Share with You feature allows users to more easily explore and enjoy content shared through information apps, including image apps, Safari browsers, and podcast apps.

Major updates to the Safari browser include the use of the tab group function to achieve a beautiful streamlined tab bar and powerful tab management; Mac supports shortcut instructions for the first time to perform daily tasks; focus mode helps users concentrate on completing tasks and reduce interference.

Users can download the latest version through Software Update in System Preferences.
