Vivo’s first foldable device called NEX Fold may arrive this year

Last week, it was reported that Vivo has applied for trademarks for some NEX devices, and NEX Fold is one of them. Now, it is revealed that this foldable device will be launched this year. According to Ice Universe, the next Vivo NEX phone will not be the NEX 5. Instead, Vivo will launch NEX Fold this year, which is the manufacturer’s first foldable device.

Ross Young, CEO of Screen Supply Chain Consulting (DSCC), responded with more details under a tweet. He revealed that in terms of panel size, this device will be the largest inward folding device. This means that it will be greater than the internal display millet Mix Fold and Huawei internal display Mate X2, these two phones’ dimensions are 8.01 inches and 8.0 inches.

It is reported that NEX Fold may be launched this year, but it will not be available for purchase until January next year. It is also possible that it will first be launched in the Chinese market this year, and then released to the world in January, most likely to be unveiled at CES in 2022.
