According to the latest news, Facebook is adding voiced emojis to Facebook Messenger. Of course, their name is Soundmojis. To access Soundmojis, when the user is in a Messenger conversation, click the emoji button, click the sound icon on the far right, and scroll through the list of available options.
Just click on an emoji, you can preview the accompanying sound, and then click the send button to put it into the user’s conversation. Some sounds are expected: for example, the bleating sound of the goat emoji, while the clapping emoji plays the sound of clapping.
But some are musical, such as the hourglass, which plays the lyrics of Drake’s you only live once, that’s the motto, and the sun, which plays Kanye West’s Good Morning clip. There are also some emojis that show clips from TV shows and movies: the first emoji facing right plays the famous line of Dominic Torreto in Fast and Furious 7 – I have no friends, we are family.
Facebook said it will regularly update new sound emojis. This news is released before the arrival of World Emoji Day on July 17 every year.
