Microsoft released Windows 11 Build 22000.71 (KB5004252)

Microsoft announced the release of the Windows 11 Build 22000.71 (KB5004252) update to users of the Insider Program.

Changes & Improvements

  • Microsoft has introduced a new entertainment gadget. This component allows users to view new movies and selected movies available in the Microsoft Store. Choosing a movie will lead the user to the Microsoft Store to view more information about the movie. Users only need to open the widget and click the Add widget button to select the entertainment widget.
  • The new context menu and other right-click menus have been updated to use acrylic material.
  • Microsoft is testing the usability of SplitButton to create new folders and files in the file explorer command bar.
  • The taskbar preview (when the user hovers over the taskbar to open the app) has been updated to reflect the new visual design of Windows 11.

  • Fixed an issue where if the user drags the application icons on the taskbar to rearrange, the application will be launched or minimized when the user releases the icon.
