Ubisoft announces Rainbow 6 Extraction and Riders Republic Bounced Tickets

Ubisoft announced that Rainbow 6 Extraction and Riders Republic have skipped tickets to January 2022 and October 2021, respectively. Ubisoft stated that both games need more testing before they are released to the market. Ubisoft will use this extra time to further polish the game. Rainbow 6 Extraction was originally scheduled to be released on September 16.

The purpose of the decision to postpone these two games is to give players more opportunities to test, experience and provide feedback to ensure that we bring the best experience to the market and allow them to reach their full potential. We believe in the new release schedule Will enable us to achieve this goal. This is the right decision for our players and the long-term performance of our game.

Regarding the postponement of Rainbow 6 Extraction, Ubisoft explained:

Our goal is to provide a mature AAA experience that changes the way you play and thinks about cooperative games. With unique features, such as Missing In Action or The Sprawl, each task will bring a tense and challenging experience. You will lead the elite Rainbow 6 operators against deadly and evolving alien threats.

We are seizing the opportunity to use more time to turn this vision into reality in the way it should be in January 2022. We believe that this will ensure that Rainbow 6 Extraction brings an immersive and thrilling cooperative gaming experience, which is also the game you desire to play.

For the Riders Republic, Ubisoft explained:

In order to ensure that we can provide the best game for all players, we made a difficult decision to postpone our release date from September 2 to October 28. This will give us more time to come. Fine-tune the game experience and give players another opportunity to experience the game and provide feedback before launch.
