Google Pixel Fold gets a large 120 Hz screen

The screen of Google’s first-ever foldable smartphone, the Pixel Fold, will have a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Google works with Samsung as a manufacturer of folding screen technology.

Samsung will deliver foldable screens for six different phones this year. This includes of course the own Galaxy Z Flip 3 and the Galaxy Z Fold 3, but also devices from other manufacturers. These four other foldable certainly come with a 120 Hz screen that has a variable refresh rate. Because the refresh rate can vary, the phone saves energy.

Little is known about these four other foldable devices with a Samsung screen, but a striking name is mentioned in the Google Pixel Fold. For example, Google’s first foldable phone is expected to be called, which has already been leaked. Rumor spreader Ross Young talks about the four upcoming foldable on Twitter. The Pixel Fold is expected to have a 7.57-inch display when fully extended.

Other Foldables

Other devices Young talks about will come from OPPO, Vivo and Xiaomi. OPPO’s smartphone will be the largest phone out because it comes with an 8.2-inch panel. Furthermore, it lacks details.
