Apple Music will broadcast the premiere of Kanye West’s new album Donda on Thursday

According to the latest reports, Apple Music will exclusively broadcast the global listening event of rapper Kanye West’s tenth studio album Donda. Def Jam Recordings announced on Twitter on Tuesday local time that West will release his highly anticipated new album for the first time at a sold-out audition held at the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta on Thursday.

Apple Music will start live streaming from 8pm Eastern Time on July 23. In the Beats broadcast of Game 6 of the NBA Finals, Apple’s role in this event was revealed. The commercial was scored and edited by West, and the music was “No Child Left Behind” from the Donda album, starring American sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson.

It is reported that West’s new album Donda is named after his late mother. Apple has also broadcast some special events in the past, including the 2016 concert of the British alternative rock band 1975. In February of this year, Apple TV+ also held the live premiere of the exclusive documentary Billie Eilish: The World’s a Little blur.
