Tesla CEO Elon Musk said via Twitter that Tesla will open the Supercharger network to other electric vehicles later this year. Musk also added that Tesla’s charging network will be open to all countries in the future. Tesla’s previously disclosed data shows that it has opened more than 25,000 Supercharging stations worldwide.
We created our own connector, as there was no standard back then & Tesla was only maker of long range electric cars.
It’s one fairly slim connector for both low & high power charging.
That said, we’re making our Supercharger network open to other EVs later this year.
