July 2021 patch update rolled out for Galaxy A80

The Galaxy A80 is now in India at a pretty tear-jerking price of Rs 47,990. It is Samsung’s most premium phone in the Galaxy A series right now and it is at a spitting distance from the company’s flagship Galaxy S10e. The high-end price tag is due to two new technologies – the notchless New Infinity display and a unique rotating triple camera setup.

The Galaxy A80 has launched globally a few months ago as the first phone to come with Qualcomm’s newest mid-range processor, the Snapdragon 730G. By the time the A80 came to India, we already got the Redmi K20, which offers a Snapdragon 730 chipset at a comparatively more affordable price of Rs 21,999. The SD730G is identical to the SD730 except the former gets a slight bump in GPU performance, which means it should offer a better gaming experience on paper.

According to the latest information, the Samsung Galaxy A80 smartphone users in Spain received the current month patch – July 2021 security patch update on the build number A805FXXS6DUG3 in Cyprus, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, and the UK.  In the Galaxy A80 update, you can expect to see improvements to file sharing over Quick Share to be part of the update.

Owners of the Galaxy A80 can receive notification of this update. By chance you don’t receive an update notification then check the update manually by going to the device Settings >> Software updates >> Download and install.

Note: Before upgrading to the latest version make sure your smartphone is connected with a proper internet connection, we recommend you to download it over WIFI so that you will not face any error.
