iOS and iPadOS 14.7.1 update released and it fix the Apple Watch Touch ID unlocking problem

iOS 14

iOS 14

Apple has released iOS 14.7.1 and iPadOS 14.7.1, which include a bug fix, that is, a bug that users found that Apple Watch could not be unlocked when connected to a Touch ID phone. In addition, this update also brings some security uncertainties.

The new version will be automatically downloaded to the device, or it can be manually installed via OTA by visiting the Settings app. In the main screen, select General, and then select Software Update to start the update immediately.

iOS 14.7 and iPadOS 14.7 were originally planned to be the final version of iOS 14 (because iOS 15 is not far from us, the current development focus is on the new version), but because the bug is more obvious, a revised version has to be released quickly.

Apple is currently testing and polishing its milestone operating system updates by developers and Beta channels, including iOS 15, iPadOS 15, tvOS 15, and watchOS 8. It is undergoing final phase testing before its fall release.

The list of devices supported by this version is as follows:
