Chrome browser will have a built-in screenshot tool and a search for pictures feature

Google has now started to develop built-in screenshot tools for the Chrome browser on Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS. Chrome’s screenshot tool will be included in Chrome’s new share menu, which will make it easier for users to quickly take screenshots from web pages, similar to the screenshots of web pages in Microsoft Edge browser.

Similar to Microsoft’s Edge browser, Google Chrome’s screenshot tool will open a selection tool that allows users to capture content in the browser. It is not clear whether the change tool supports scrolling screenshots.

According to the Chromium patch released earlier today, screenshots will be automatically saved to the user’s clipboard. In addition, Chrome’s context menu will include the Search this picture in Google option, which is supported by Google Lens, which is the Search for pictures with pictures feature.

Users can download the Canary version of the Chrome browser, Google Lens will be enabled by default, and the screenshot function needs to be turned on in the experimental options #sharing-desktop-screenshots.
