Playground Games first released the full map of Forza Horizon 5 in the latest live broadcast. At the same time, creative director Mike Brown mentioned that the new map will be 1.5 times that of Horizon 4. In the live show, Playground also detailed the 11 unique biomes contained in Horizon: 5. And Xbox earlier released videos and screenshots about these 11 biomes.
According to the developer, with Mexico as the background, the upcoming game has the most diverse open world to date. We understood from the beginning that we wanted this to be the largest Forza Motorsport to date. Therefore, if we want to make the largest work, then we feel that we also need to provide the most variety and contrast.
The country of Mexico is almost like a world abbreviation: snow-capped mountains, tropical jungles, canyons, beaches, ancient buildings and modern cities. Add to that Mexico’s incredible culture—music, art, history, and people—nothing is more exciting than this.
Forza Motorsport: Horizon 5 will be released on November 9th, landing on Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC, first landing on XGP.
