Just one month after reaching the top-selling game on PS Mall in June, Cyberpunk 2077 completely fell out of the top 20 sales list of the platform. Sony released the July PS store sales list this week. The game created by CDPR was absent from the US and European service digital sales charts at the same time, implying that it experienced a linear decline after it was relaunched on the PS store.
Cyberpunk 2077 finally returned to the PS store on June 21 this year, half a year has passed since it was removed from the shelves by Sony. After returning, Sony still not recommended players to purchase the PS4 basic version of the Cyberpunk 2077 game.
At the end of March this year, CDPR senior vice president of business development Michał Nowakowski said that the absence of Cyberpunk 2077 in Sony’s digital mall may hurt the sales of the game on all platforms. The PS5 and XSX/S versions of Cyberpunk 2077 are scheduled to be launched in the second half of this year.
