Android Auto will be replaced by Google Assistant driving mode

Android 12 operating system beta testers reported that the original Android Auto on the phone will be replaced by the driving mode of Google’s voice assistant. However, the Android Auto driving has not completely disappeared, but this new change means that Google wants to provide users with a simpler in-car system solution.

According to the tester’s report, if the user’s mobile phone is running the latest Android 12 and the mobile phone is connected to the car, when the user tries to open the Android Auto driving on the mobile phone, a pop-up window will appear, prompting the user to try using Google Assistant Driving Mode.

Of course, users can ignore this pop-up reminder and continue to use the original Android Auto. Google officially launched Android 12 at the I/O Developer Conference in May this year. It not only introduced a new design language, but also redesigned the entire underlying system, and further improved security and privacy.
