Huawei EMUI 12 goes live

After the launch of the HarmonyOS, EMUI seems to be stuck on version 11. However, in June of this year, EMUI 12 appeared for the first time in the documentation of the Huawei Computer Manager. On August 5th, Huawei released Nova 8 in Russia, which was impressively pre-installed with the EMUI 12 system.

On August 26, Huawei’s overseas official website first disclosed the main features of the EMUI 12 system: including simple UI design, rich animation effects, font-weight adjustment, new control panel, new notification center, equipment + smart collaboration, and distributed file system, cross-device video calls MeeTime, experience better performance, enhanced security protection.

It can be seen that EMUI 12 has inherited some innovative and highly acclaimed function points from HarmonyOS. Unfortunately, the upgraded model has not yet been announced. It seems that EMUI 12 should be mainly for overseas users who rely heavily on the underlying Android. The Huawei Mate 40 series is used in the demo picture. It is not difficult to guess that it will be the first to upgrade. In addition, the P40 series, Mate 30 series, etc. should also be listed.
