Since the release of the 9 series of mobile phones, OnePlus was equipped with the ColorOS system for the first time. At that time, it was announced that it would gradually adapt to older models.
The following is the latest ColorOS adaptation plan for OnePlus:
- OnePlus 8/8 Pro/8T plans to release the ColorOS public beta in early 2022, and the stable version of ColorOS will be launched in the first half of 2022;
- OnePlus 7/7 Pro/7T/7T Pro plans to release the ColorOS public beta in mid-2022, and the stable version of ColorOS will be launched in the second half of 2022.
- The official also stated that due to the differences in software and hardware for each model, the specific adaptation time and sequence will be different. OnePlus Liu Fengshuo said that the 7 series and 8 series, like previous models, did not take into account the need to adapt to another system when they went on the market. Therefore, in the actual work process, we encountered more difficulties and challenges, and there are many places to consider.
