BMW CE 02 electric bike unveiled

At the IAA Mobility exhibition held in Germany this week, BMW presented the CE 02 electric bike for the first time. This bike is very different from BMW’s previous CE 04 large electric scooter, with a small and compact appearance and a sci-fi style.

BMW CE 02 bike paint mainly uses black and silver-white, and the front and rear wheels are very wide, which can provide good grip. In terms of power, this bike has a maximum electric motor power of 11kW, a maximum speed of 90km/h, and a cruising range of 90km.

BMW has not yet announced the battery capacity of this bike. As can be seen in the picture, the rear wheel of the BMW CE 02 is only connected to the body by the left side link, and the rear wheel is driven by a belt. The seat of this bike is a suspension design, with only a flat plate, and the bottom gap can provide a certain shock absorption function.

The handlebar has a transparent oil can. It is expected that the motorcycle will use a hydraulic disc brake system. As can be seen in the picture, the BMW CE 02 electric motorcycle also has LED headlights on the front, and the pedals are relatively small. This bike weighs about 120kg and is currently a concept model. BMW has not announced whether the bike will be mass-produced, and its price is unknown.
