Intel

Intel launched the Arc series GPUs last month and confirmed that the first generation iteration code-named Alchemist is based on Xe-HPG GPUs. Now a laptop equipped with an Intel i7-11800H processor and the DG2-512EU unique display has appeared on Geekbench ahead of time, and we can get a glimpse of Intel’s upcoming sharp and dazzling style.

This model is also equipped with a Tiger Lake-H processor in addition to Intel’s independent display, which means that Intel does not plan to bundle Arc and Alder Lake-H55 series for sale. The GPU of this model is displayed as Xe Graphics, and the Arc product name is not mentioned. It has a maximum frequency of 1800 MHz. It has 512 computing units.

It is reported that. Intel has announced that it will provide a new name for the core cluster of Xe-HPG products: Xe-Cores. The DG2-256EU and DG2-128EU models have been exposed before, but the 512EU high-end model is the first time, but it is obviously stronger, but it is currently far behind the AMD/NVIDIA mid-range card (Weaker than RX 570/GTX1650).

It is worth mentioning that there have been rumors that the top Arc Alchemist GPU is close to the level of NVIDIA RTX 3070 GPU, but it is only a rumor. Judging from the currently exposed models, Intel’s unique 512EU model is 85% faster than the 256EU model, but the two GPU test platforms (Tiger Lake and Alder Lake) are different and cannot be used as a reference.
