Google recently launched a new Tiles API for Wear OS. In this regard, Google said that by using the Tiles function, users can quickly access information and perform operations by simply sliding on the main screen of the watch face. Smartwatch users can use this to strengthen control and better control the information and operations they want to know.
Google told developers that tiles can be shared with smartwatch users. Developers can create custom tiles by downloading the latest Alpha version of the Jetpack Tiles API. After the developer uploads the creation to Google Play, users can download and use the tiles. Developers can also upload a screenshot of the tile to the preview resource in the Play Store in the Google Play Management Center.
