HBO Max arrives on October 26 in Europe, but not in Italy, France and Germany

As anticipated at the beginning of the year, HBO Max is preparing to land in Europe and this time we also have an official date: next October 26th. Unfortunately, the restricted selection of markets in which the streaming service will debut has also been confirmed, among which some of the main European countries such as Italy, France, Germany and the United Kingdom are not present.

The complete list includes 6 countries (Spain, Andorra, Finland, Denmark, Sweden, Norway) to which 14 more will be added during the year (Bosnia-Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Moldova, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Hungary).

These are broadly many of the markets in which HBO was already present with national streaming services (such as HBO Nordic, España and Go), which will gradually converge within HBO Max to standardize the offer package. However, the company seems to expect further expansion in the course of 2022.

At the moment the cost of the monthly subscription is not known; it seems that the company will unveil it next month during a virtual event that will sanction the official presentation of the service and the schedule.
