Razer launches Wolverine V2 Chroma controller for Xbox and PC

Game peripherals and PC manufacturer Razer announced the launch of the Wolverine V2 Chroma controller on Tuesday. This professional gamepad is suitable for Xbox Series S|X, Xbox One and PC. It adds a lot of extra functions. The suggested retail price is US$149.99.

For a game handle, $149 is a very high price. However, RAZER provides a wealth of functions. Both the ABXY button and D-pad use the company’s Mecha-Tactile switch, making them have a clear response and satisfying clicks similar to Razer mouse clicks. Razer says that compared to standard Xbox wireless controllers, they need to be 35% shorter before starting and 40% faster to start. They are rated for 3 million presses.

In terms of buttons, in addition to providing the same buttons as the standard Xbox, there are 6 additional buttons, including 2 top bumpers and four bottom triggers. The bottom triggers are particularly good because their design makes them feel like the paddles you find on other professional controllers, but there is a more sturdy design, such as the rear trigger.

The rear RT/LT trigger also has a trigger bezel. Slide the switch over, it can cut the travel distance in half, which can come in handy when you need speed in shooting games. Slide the switch backward and you can get a full range of sports, which is better for things like racing games.
