Google launches new Pixel wallpapers for immediate download and prepares other news

The Google Pixel team continues to publish new collections of wallpapers dedicated to certain cultural and social themes and the latest in the series is the one that celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month, an event that runs from 15 September to 15 October.

Unlike what happened on the occasion of International Friendship Day on July 30, Google did not release the three wallpapers in advance this time. Made by Mexican artist SENKOE, the three Google Pixel wallpapers are dedicated to pre-Hispanic life and ancient Mexican culture: Also Link Mention.

  • Totem – in the pre-Columbian imagination all the stories related to the cosmos and natural elements converge
  • Raíces – the heart of Hispanic culture finds its roots in mysticism and magic
  • El árbol de la vida – symbolizing good and evil, night and day, the tree of life is a vibrant feast of the senses

This trio of wallpapers joins 21 others released in recent months and even these are not particularly optimized for the front camera of Google Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a 5G or Pixel 5. The three new wallpapers are available on the Google Pixels in the Wallpapers and Style app.

Google prepares an event for September 29th

Still speaking of the Mountain View giant, for September 29th it has scheduled a live streaming event entitled Search On 2021, an appointment at which it will announce the latest innovations in the field of artificial intelligence designed to make information more useful. Google will likely launch an update of its Multitask Unified Model (MUM) technology announced at Google I/O 2021 in May and thanks to which users should be able to ask more complex questions and still get satisfying answers.

For example, after taking a picture of your hiking boots, you may be wondering if they are suitable for hiking Mount Fuji and MUM would be able to connect the image to the question and give an adequate answer.
