Google Pixel Fold will be launched in Q4 this year

According to the latest report, there have been rumors that Google will launch a foldable device for the Pixel series for a long time. Now, David Naranjo, senior director of Display Supply Chain Consultants, has revealed that Google’s Pixel Fold folding screen phone is expected to be released in the fourth quarter of 2021.

David said that Google will launch the Pixel 6 series on October 19, and also revealed the appearance and specifications of this phone. He further stated that Pixel Fold is likely to be the one more thing announced at the Pixel 6 conference. Moreover, if the phone was not mentioned at the October press conference, it will be launched before the end of this year.

David also revealed that Google Pixel Fold will use the LTPO OLED display, and will also use Samsung’s foldable display technology, equipped with a 7.6-inch inward-folding display. According to previous reports, Google’s self-developed Tensor chip will not only be used in Pixel 6/Pro but may also be used in Pixel Fold folding screen phones.

Google claims that the Tensor chip will make Pixel 6 into the ranks of the best Android phones while making it one of the safest smartphones in the world. In addition, the Pixel Fold folding screen mobile phone will also support a 120Hz refresh rate.
