Intel 12th Gen Core needs to change the radiator, Arctic upgrades the buckle for old users for free

Not surprisingly, in addition to the Windows 11 system in October, Intel’s 12th-generation Core Alder Lake will also be officially released, upgrading the Intel 7 process, bringing the large and small core architecture to the desktop processor for the first time, up to 8 large and 8 small combinations, 16 cores 24 threads, performance, price are very good and very powerful.

In addition to the CPU upgrade, the 12th-generation Core will also be equipped with a 600 series chipset this time, and the slot will also be upgraded to LGA1700, which is not compatible with the current LGA1200 slot. Radiator manufacturers can also make a lot of money.

But not everyone has to buy a new radiator. The Swiss radiator brand the Arctic announced that it will give free benefits to old players. Just contact their technical support staff and submit proof of purchasing a new CPU to give away a set of LGA1700 for free.

Prior to this, the Austrian radiator manufacturer Owl had implemented a similar policy, and it also gave old users free upgrades to the fasteners, which they have done for many years. In addition, starting from October, Arctic will also sell the LGA1700 slot buckle separately, which is suitable for Freezer 34, Liquid Freezer II, Freezer 50 and Freezer i13 X and Freezer i13 X CO radiators, priced at 6 euros.

Of course, there will be brand new radiators that support the LGA1700 socket, such as i35 A-RGB, designed for the LGA1700 platform.
