OnePlus 9 OxygenOS 11.2.9.9

The collaboration between OnePlus and Hasselblad, one of the most important brands in the photographic field, is the basis of one of the most important features of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro smartphones. Today, this collaboration, with the arrival of the OxygenOS 11.2.9.9 update, is being pushed to new heights with the introduction of the Hasselblad XPan mode. Developed jointly with the Hasselblad team, XPan mode was created to faithfully recreate shots in 65:24 format.

All the images taken in 65:24 format are characterized by a unique, singular, highly recognizable style, easily activated directly from the Camera application. The photographs have a resolution of 20 MP and users have the opportunity to choose between two different focal lengths of 30 mm and 45 mm: those with a focal length of 30 mm using the ultra-angular sensor, while those with a focal length of 45 mm take advantage of the main sensor.

Working with Hasselblad in XPan mode helped us recreate their legendary experience of viewing photographs in a 65:24 format before shooting a wide and panoramic image in 30mm and 45mm – said Hsiaohua Cheng, Head of Imaging by OnePlus. Using XPan mode on the OnePlus 9 and 9 Pro will allow our users to see the world around them through a single lens.

In addition to the presence of filters to take photos in black and white and in color, the OnePlus team has also added a nice animation that reproduces the negative of a film when immortalizing a photo. The new OxygenOS update is in the rollout for the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro, but it could take a few days before it also arrives in our country.

The new Hasselblad XPan Mode offers the following features:
