Just one day after the public release of iOS 15, Apple is starting a new cycle of test versions of its most important operating systems, and this is how beta 1 of iOS 15.1, iPadOS 15.1, tvOS 15.1 arrived just a few minutes ago. watchOS 8.1 and macOS Monterey beta 7.
At the moment, availability is assured for developers enrolled in the testing program and the update should have been recently notified for installation via OTA. iOS 15.1 is likely to include improvements and bug fixes found in iOS 15 in the first place, but it may also hide new features that weren’t included in yesterday’s major update. Keep in mind that iOS 15 arrived without a host of promised features, including SharePlay, ID cards in the Wallet app, app privacy report, CarPlay navigation improvements, universal control, Find My AirPods, and more.
