After Google previously left little to the imagination with its Pixel 6 series, the Pixel 6 wallpapers have now also been leaked. After an initial batch of 12 wallpapers, another 15 wallpapers have now been leaked. Download the background and here.
12 official wallpapers of the Pixel 6 series have been leaked. 9To5Google tricked the Google Wallpapers app into believing they were using a Pixel 6. They were then shown the all-new bundle of wallpapers from the ‘Just For Fun’ section.
We see a clearly recognizable drawing style and two clear themes. The first theme is food and drink in which fruit can be seen each time. This ranges from a number of slices of melons to an ice cream cone. On the other hand, there are also backgrounds that are more focused on people and their hobbies. We see street artists, musicians and photographers, among others.
After the first 12 wallpapers leaked, another whole series has been discovered. This time it’s about backgrounds that all have to do with special plants. XDA Developers managed to obtain them thanks to a source who already has a Pixel 6 prototype in hand.
Screen resolution leaked
Thanks to these wallpapers we also discover the resolutions of the screen of the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The Pixel 6 is rumored to have a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen and has a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. The Pixel 6 Pro, on the other hand, comes with a larger 6.71-inch panel that has a higher resolution of 3120 x 1440 pixels.
Google is creative with each of these wallpapers with the small selfie camera that sits in the middle of the screen. Sometimes the camera is a melon seed, while other times it serves as a microphone, like a headset or just really as a camera lens of a photographer in the picture. It also remains to be seen how each of these backgrounds will deal with Google’s Material You design.
