Google introduced the dark mode theme for Assistant reminders

Following the arrival of the Material You and the dark theme for Google One, the Mountain View giant also brings the dark theme to the Google Assistant reminders. If you own an Android smartphone, you will certainly know that there are various ways to create new reminders: through Google Assistant, with Google Calendar, with Google Keep and also through the appropriate entry nested in the Google account panel inside the Google App.

Before the arrival of this small update, the reminders screen was set to the light theme regardless of the system one; today Google has finally decided to unify the user experience by unveiling the long-awaited dark theme.

Looking at the image gallery, however, we still notice some small inaccuracies: in the lower portion of the UI, where the upward swipe indicator is present, there is still a small white interface tongue; while the top status bar of Android, where notifications, the time, the battery, the Wi-Fi and data traffic icon would normally appear, is completely black.

Perhaps there are still some small inaccuracies to be fixed here and there, but without a shadow of a doubt, it is a good step forward. If you haven’t received the dark theme yet, try updating the Google App to the latest version available via the Play Store.
