How to upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 for free?

Windows 11

Windows 11

Microsoft’s free upgrade from Windows 10 to Windows 11 is now underway. Microsoft began to provide free upgrades to new devices still using Windows 10, and then provide the operating system to other eligible existing hardware. However, not every existing computer running Windows 10 can be upgraded to Windows 11. Windows 11 requires Intel’s eighth-generation Coffee Lake or Zen 2 processor and above, supports TPM 2.0 (Trusted Platform Module), 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

This makes it impossible for millions of computers to officially upgrade to Windows 11. Although if you really want to switch to Windows 11 forcibly, there must be third-party workarounds on the Internet that are not officially recommended.

Microsoft is upgrading computers around the world to Windows 11 in a gradual manner, so free upgrades will not be provided to all existing eligible computers. According to Microsoft, all existing and eligible PCs should receive Windows 11 upgrades by mid-2022.
