WhatsApp will support to pause the sending of voice messages and resume recording later

For users who like to send long voice messages, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that allows users to pause sending voice messages and continue recording later without having to send them in two segments.

According to WABetainfo reports, this feature is under development and has not yet been provided to Beta testers. In this interface, users can click the pause/continue and start/stop buttons to perform multi-segment recording and synthesize a voice message just like using a voice recorder.

It is not clear when this feature will be launched. In addition, WhatsApp will support non-front-end playback of voice messages . Users can listen to friends’ voice messages while sending text messages to family members. Recently, WhatsApp has begun testing the function of regularly deleting chat records with Beta personnel, allowing users to choose to delete chat records after 24 hours, 7 days, or 90 days.
