The new generation model of the Google Pixel Stand base had appeared for the first time in recent days, as part of a leak regarding the Google Pixel 6, but this time it is precisely Google Pixel Stand (2nd Gen) the subject of a new indiscretion.
The new base, which will naturally join the Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro during the upcoming launch, is shown in a couple of images that confirm the significant aesthetic (and probably technical) difference compared to the first-generation model.
The new leak has as its source M. Brandon of the YouTube channel This Is Tech Today, who had already shared some new wallpapers of the Google Pixel 6. Google Pixel Stand of the second generation, as you can see from the opening image and the following ones, has a decidedly thicker but at the same time functional design, the son of Google’s choices to implement faster charging and a cooling fan.

As for the functionality, the presence of a dual-coil setup is revealed, with a charging station dedicated to wearables. As for wireless charging speeds, the Google Pixel Stand (2nd Gen) will allow supported Pixel devices to go up to 23W. The other Qi-certified devices will stop at 15 W, while the Google Pixel Buds at 3 W. There will be a USB-C port and automatic and manual control of the active fan.

In line with Google’s sustainability policies, the base will be produced with approximately 54% recycled materials. As for the dimensions and weight, we read of 113.9 x 82 x 71.6 mm and about 383.6 g. The available colors should be Rock Candy and Fog.
On supported devices, Google Pixel Stand (2nd Gen) will offer a dedicated software experience, with quick access to Google Assistant, photo frame function, alarm clock, immersive mode with multimedia content, bedtime mode, home and media controls, integration with Google Meet and more.
The source even reveals the selling price at which the second-generation Google Pixel Stand should be offered in the United States, or 79 dollars (about 68 euros). As far as availability is concerned, there is talk of a one-year warranty in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan and India; a two-year warranty in the EU, UK and China.
