Google may officially release the Pixel 6 smartphone in a week. Although the news is not as turbulent as the Pixel 3, unofficial news about Pixel 6/6 Pro continues to flow out. The latest news is that Alex Dobie shared the battery capacity details of the new Pixel 6 on Twitter. Although Samsung caused complaints due to the shrinking battery capacity of the Galaxy Z Fold 3, we are thankful that Google did not follow up on its flagship devices.
Not a whole lot of new stuff in those leaked Pixel 6 repair guide, but:
– Battery photos confirm 4614mAh + 5003mAh capacities for P6 + P6 Pro respectively
– GIFs of touch panel calibration process for both phones gives a good idea of relative bezel size pic.twitter.com/YwckMrjZwU— Alex Dobie (@alexdobie) October 10, 2021
The live images shared by Alex Dobie of Android Central also revealed the screen borders of the two new Pixel 6 models. As for the battery capacity, Pixel 6/6 Pro are 4616/5003 mAh respectively. Considering that the previous generation Pixel 5 was only equipped with a 4080 mAh battery, this configuration is quite satisfactory.
The Pixel 6 Pro uses the “g5123b” Modem via the leaked Repair manual.
That confirms the Modem “Tensor” uses is the Samsung’s Exynos 5123 Modem. (https://t.co/rvF6HqEAbn) pic.twitter.com/sKPyWXAXgO— Nils Ahrensmeier (@NilsAhrDE) October 9, 2021

Although some netizens commented that the Pixel 6 Pro’s screen borders are a bit thick, we are not surprised considering that the two devices use different display panels. Finally, technology reporter Nils Ahrensmeier confirmed that the Pixel 6 Pro model uses Samsung’s Exynos 5123 5G modem. As the home field of Qualcomm, we are also quite curious about its performance in the US market.
