Microsoft today pushed the cumulative update for the official version of Windows 11 in October, the patch number is KB5006674, after the update, the system version number will be upgraded to Build 22000.258.

Resolved a known compatibility issue between certain Intel Killer and SmartByte software and Windows 11 (original version). In some cases, the device with the affected software may drop User Datagram Protocol (UDP) packets. This can cause performance and other issues for UDP-based protocols.

For example, on the affected device, some websites may load more slowly than others, which may result in slower video transmission speeds at certain resolutions, and UDP-based virtual private network solutions may also slow down.

Microsoft also stated that in the next few months it will switch to a new, more user-friendly and flexible user system for Microsoft technical security notifications, and information on how to register and receive these technical security notifications will be released later.
