A Samsung Health app update infuriates some users

In these hours, a user on Reddit equipped with the Samsung Galaxy Watch4 smartwatch has noticed a singular behavior of the Samsung Health application: the continuous graph about the heartbeat recordings has mysteriously disappeared.

Digging deeper, it was discovered that a new update recently released by the company removes this functionality: now the application shows some time bars with data relating to the average, minimum and maximum heart rate.

Confirmation of this change comes directly from the customer support service in response to a request for clarification from the user:

Thanks for confirming Tomasz. Just to let you know, we have an application update on our health app. Continuous heart rate removed from Samsung Health was a built-in feature of the latest app updates. In this case, I am sorry to inform you that since the update was already installed on your device, we cannot change it back to a continuous graph.

The new graphic is linked to version 6.19.1.001 and obviously does not affect those who have not yet installed the new update. However, if you have it installed and you are not happy with the new heart rate tracking system.
