Google testing the Android Push feature, launch the mobile APP on the Chromebook

Google is trying to enhance the interaction between Chrome OS and the Android platform, and a feature being tested allows users to mirror Android phone applications on Chromebooks. This feature is now called Android Push, using the WebRTC technology used in current video chats to launch the Android APP on the Chromebook.

This feature belongs to the existing Phone Hub, allowing users to temporarily access their mobile apps from a Chromebook. In theory, when receiving a notification from a mobile phone, the user can click on the notification, and the corresponding application will be launched without having to install it on the Chromebook. However, unlike mobile phone mirroring, this sounds like a brief interaction, as the word “temporary” in the description implies.
