Google Translate is preparing to welcome Material You and some news

Google has already updated most of its core apps with the Material You design guidelines. Now Google Translate is also preparing to finally receive the new look. Last month the XDA team gave us a first look at the new Google Translate design through analysis of the app’s APK, and although the new redesign has not yet been rolled out for end-users, in the latest update they have been some changes to the user interface have been identified.

Version 6.24 of Google Translate includes a new change that allows you to quickly access the translation history via a quick drop-down gesture, plus it also introduces a new phrasebook layout. The profile page now includes quick access to the translation history and the Tap to Translate feature has also received a new user interface, with the floating window now featuring rounded corners and pill-shaped buttons appearing on the outside of the same.

Version 6.24 of Google Translate is not currently accessible to end-users, however, it may debut on the upcoming Google Pixel 6 as a temporary exclusive. Recall that there are only a few hours left until the launch event of Google Pixel 6 in which we hope to also see the second generation Pixel Stand and the Pixel Pass, Google’s answer to Apple One.
