Android Edge new growth screenshot feature

Microsoft Edge on Android is getting a new feature that allows users to take long screenshots. This feature is currently available in the Canary channel version and is expected to be extended to the Beta and Stable channel versions in the next few days. As the name suggests, the long screenshot feature will allow Edge users to take screenshots of the entire webpage, not just the part of the webpage that is visible on the screen.

Although the ability to take long screenshots is natively provided in many models, the introduction of this feature is still welcomed by Edge users. Because this feature will be able to run in every browser Android smartphone use.

The long screenshot option can be found in the Share center, as shown in the figure below. Clicking on this option will allow the user to capture the entire (or any small part they want) web page. Once the interception is successful, the user can also save and share the screenshot with others.

The Microsoft Edge browser on PC has had this long screenshot feature since last year, and now, this feature is also applicable to users who use Edge on Android. We expect this feature to appear on Edge’s iOS client in the near future.
