PUBG: New State mobile game will be officially launched on November 11

Publisher Krafton announced today that the new mobile game PUBG: New State will be launched on the Android/iOS platform on November 11. It is reported that the new game will set the story background in the future 2051, focusing on the multiplayer game as the center of the chicken experience, supplemented by new features such as custom weapons and drones. If all goes well, PUBG: New State will be available in more than 200 regional markets in 17 languages.

Krafton regards PUBG: New State as an important milestone in the series. Since the launch of the first game in 2017, chicken-eating games have gained considerable popularity. Although New State is not PUBG’s first entry into the mobile market, it can be regarded as another orthodox sequel of PUBG Studios after PUBG Mobile in 2018. At the same time, PUBG Studios emphasized that the new game will implement strong anti-cheat measures and will actively monitor community issues in an effort to stifle problems such as plug-ins in the cradle.

Previously, PUBG was in the quagmire of ineffective control due to various fairies flying in the sky. Motherboard said in a report earlier this year that a plug-in development organization used this chicken-dinner game to make a fortune of more than $70 million.

Of course, PUBG is not the only game facing this type of problem. Many companies, including Activision and Valve, are also working hard to prevent the proliferation of in-game and hardware cheating, thereby causing a devastating blow to the player experience such as fairness.

Closer to home, like previous PUBG games, New State is still centered on multiplayer competitions. Up to 100 players are allowed to compete for chickens on a map, and support individual or team mode. In the early stage of its release, New State will provide four maps, and PUBG Studios promises to regularly introduce new content in the future.

Finally, Bloomberg pointed out in a report in January this year that in addition to mobile devices, Krafton also plans to release another PUBG-themed derivative game for PC and console platforms before next year. In addition, there is a PUBG universe that plans scenarios for the next three centuries, including a new survival horror game scheduled to be released in 2022.
