Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra latest render show display with bangs and dual rear cameras

This year, Samsung plans to launch three high-end tablets. In addition to the Galaxy Tab S8 and Tab S8+, the Korean technology giant will also bring the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra. As the name suggests, the Ultra model will be the high-end version with the most features and the highest performance. Today, 91mobiles collaborated with OnLeaks to bring you the first impression of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra through clear 5K CAD renderings. This tablet has a bang, this time Samsung did it before Apple.

We are pretty sure that we are not seeing the upcoming iPad Pro. Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra does have a small bang. This notch is not to provide any technology similar to Face ID, but just to provide some space for the front camera. Since the frame around the display is quite slender, bangs are obviously necessary in order to accommodate the selfie camera.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra uses a 14.6-inch display, while the Galaxy Tab S8 and Galaxy Tab S8+ will provide 11-inch and 12.4-inch displays, respectively. The rendering of the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra also shows dual rear cameras in a pill-shaped camera module and a magnetic strip for docking the S Pen. The 360-degree picture shows four sets of speakers and a Type-C port. There is no headphone jack.

The rendering of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra is not 100% complete, which explains the lack of a depiction of the magnetic connector on the left side of the frame. But this is roughly what Samsung’s upcoming high-end tablet looks like. Its dimensions are approximately 325.8 x 207.9 x 5.4 mm. This makes it taller and thinner than the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7+.

Samsung Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra may be the only one with a notch display among the three tablets. The Galaxy Tab S8 series was expected to be launched in the second part of the Unpacked event earlier this week, but this did not happen. These tablets may arrive in November or December unless a global chip shortage forces Samsung to postpone the launch until 2022.
