In June of this year, Microsoft announced the new Microsoft Store in Windows 11. After testing for more than 3 months, the new Microsoft Store began to be opened to Windows 10 users in phases, and it is estimated that the deployment will be completed in the next few months.

If you are currently in the Release Preview channel of the Windows Insider project, and you are running Windows 10 Version 21H2, you can get the brand new Microsoft Store by updating. Compared with the current app store, it looks less cluttered, and the new store is based on XAML (UWP) code instead of WebView, so you can expect better performance, especially when the Internet connection is slow.
