Gboard’s contextual word suggestions and autocorrect features not only make typing faster but also save us from embarrassing spelling mistakes. Now Google’s keyboard can also detect stupid grammar errors on Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Google claims that the feature operates locally on the device to preserve user privacy.
Gboard can now detect grammar errors on the Google Pixel 6 series
Currently, the grammar correction only works with the English language, but Google says it will add support for more languages in the near future, without however clarifying if and when it plans to expand this feature to other Android smartphones. Gboard’s grammar check feature surfaced in January of this year, but we didn’t know at the time that it would be exclusive to the Pixel 6 series.
On the other hand, the latest smartphones of the Google Pixel series are equipped with numerous exclusive software features, however, a gem of Google Pixel 6 is also available on other devices. Google Pixel 6 and Google Pixel 6 Pro will be available in Italy only starting from the first months of 2022 due to the serious shortage of semiconductors that has been impacting important segments of the hi-tech market for several months now.
On this occasion, we remind you that Black Friday and Cyber Monday are approaching, so it’s time to start updating your wish list.
