Ubisoft’s Prince of Persia: Sands of Time remake postponed again

Ubisoft has postponed the release date of the remake of Prince of Persia: Sands of Time for the third time. The developer explained in today’s financial report that the game will be postponed to the next fiscal year. It was supposed to be launched this fiscal year before March 2022.

The specific date has not yet been announced. The update message shared by the development team simply mentioned please rest assured that the game is still under development, but did not mention any reason for the third bounce.

This is the second time the team has made a vague statement about the postponement of the release. The remake was postponed in February, but the specific reason was not disclosed. The first bounce of the game was postponed from December 2020 to March 2021, when the official claimed the cause was COVID-19 home measures.

It is worth noting that this game was unpopular when it was first announced in 2019, and the game’s graphic improvements looked a little flat. YouTube’s like-to-dislike ratio is also overwhelmingly negative.
