Both MediaTek and Realtek said that the price increase of foundries will lead to higher costs. Therefore, in the first quarter of 2022, the price of WiFi6 chips may increase by about 10%. Relevant sources in the industry said that the rise in chip prices will further push up the unit price of terminal products, and consumers will eventually pay for this part of the cost.
