Samsung updates Good Lock and prepares it for Android 12-based One UI 4.0

The path of the One UI 4.0 based on Android 12 towards the stable version, which will arrive within the year, proceeds quickly and according to plan, with the flagships of the Galaxy S21 family leading the way.

The jump to the latest version of the green robot will gradually involve the most recent devices of the Korean giant (starting with the other tops, namely the two foldable Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Galaxy Z Flip 3), and it will be a change that will involve the whole experience, therefore making necessary adjustments and additions not only internal to the operating system but also to the Samsung app suite to ensure integration with the aesthetics and functionality of One UI 4.0.

And it is precisely in this direction that the updates released in the past few hours for Samsung Good Lock and some of its modules go. But let’s proceed in order: as far as Good Lock is concerned, version 2.1.02.2 arrives (downloadable from this link via APKMirror) with changes aimed precisely at improving support for One UI 4.0 and Android 12.

The same fate also for the popular One Hand Operation + module, that is the one that allows you to simplify the interface by adapting it for use with one hand: a need that today, in an era of increasingly large screens, can no longer be satisfied by the standard UI but requires specific measures and a dedicated mode.

With the 4.9.29 version of One Hand Operation +, downloadable from APK Mirror following this link, support for One UI 4.0 arrives and the possibility, typical of Android 12 ‘s Material You, to customize the color based on the background. Also noteworthy is the addition of NFC actions, the Do Not Disturb command to the quick tools, and the correction of problems previously encountered with Samsung Dex.

Finally, even the QuickStar module (the one that allows you to change the order of the icons in the notification panel) is updated with the release of version 5.0.00.00 (to download the apk just open this link ). And guess what? Exactly, even in this case, the intervention is functional to compatibility with One UI 4.0, whose stable release is now around the corner (should fall in December).
