Tesla is negotiating with Hertz about the delivery time of electric cars

Tesla and car rental giant Hertz are already negotiating the delivery time of the latter’s 100,000 electric car orders. Hertz has stated that it will purchase 100,000 Tesla electric vehicles by the end of 2022. A source told The Wall Street Journal that some Tesla executives were surprised by the delivery time Hertz requested. They expected Tesla to deliver 10,000 electric vehicles to Hertz a year. It is reported that Hertz is also considering purchasing electric vehicles from other manufacturers.

The Motley Fool published an article that multiple factors indicate that Tesla’s profit growth momentum in 2022 will continue. First of all, the continuous increase in productivity, the commissioning of new factories and the increase in demand will greatly increase the output next year by about 50%. Second, the return of the supply chain to normal will further improve production efficiency and reduce parts and logistics costs.
